“USA Today” has unveiled the first frame of the new movie “Shrek Forever After” – the fouth and the final film of the series, the premiere of which is scheduled on May 21. The first trailer of it was released along with “Avatar” from James Cameron on December 18.
The director Mike Mitchell has said, that in the fourth part, the main character feels he has become too domesticated. The villagers do not run away from his menacing roar, and ask him to sign their pitchforks and torches.
To regain his ogre Mojo, he makes a deal with Rumpelstiltskin (Walt Dohrn). In the end, Shrek will see what the world would be like without him in it. “That translates into Donkey being forced into cart-pulling duty, fat and lazy Puss in Boots trading his sword for a pink bow and the underhanded Rumpelstiltskin ruling the kingdom.”
Among the new characters there are: two ogre-hunting witches (Kathy Griffin and Kristin Schaal), and on the good side – the leader of the underground resistance the best-looking ogre you have ever seen, who is performed by Jon Hamm.
Wow dude that is way cool!

Shrek good
Dude, spellcheck.
There are 2 typos in the first sentence. It is fourth and why are you talking in the past when the trailer is in the future?
Otherwise, hopefully it will be better than the 3rd.
yawn
Sounds worse then the 3rd one… count me out
Would love to see more of the donkey in his form. I hope it is a good one!
Cant Wait!!
I think i am really sick and i might die
Ugh. Get the way from my Rumpelstiltskin. This premise sounds exactly like the last two movies, only now they’re going to butcher a classic tale I actually like. Hurrah.
It’s A Wonderful Life ogre style. What a piece of junk
