The company “Mandalay Pictures” has acquired film rights to the Joe Hill’s novel “Horns”, without waiting for first-hand on the shelves of shops (the book goes on sale in February 2010). Peter Guber and Cathy Schulman will produce the film. Sam Hill will serve as the executive producer.
The protagonist of history – the 26-year-old young man – wakes up with a terrible hangover and finds he has a pair of horns growing out of his head. Day by day, the horns are growing more and more, and the reason for such sudden metamorphosis, in all probability, the mysterious circumstances of his girlfriend’s unsolved murder.
It remains to add, that the pseudonym of Joe Hill is hidden book writer and author Joseph Hillstrom King – the son of Stephen King, who had gone in the footsteps of his father (apparently quite successfully).
