According to the “Los Angeles Times”, the studio “Warner Bros.” and “Alcon Entertainment” have hired Alex Zamm (“Inspector Gadget 2″) as the director of the new picture. The script will write Paul Kaplan and Mark Torgove. “Marvin the Martian” is the film version of the wicked adventures of Marvin the Martian, one of the most famous cartoon characters of the “Warner” company and sworn enemy of Bugs Bunny.
For the first time Marvin has appeared on the screen back in 1948 in the cartoon “Haredevil Hare”. In the new movie Marvin will appear in the form of CG-character surrounded by “living” actors. It is likely that Mike Myers will be the new voice of Marvin – the studio is already negotiating about this with him. According to the story, Marvin tries to blow up the Earth into small pieces exactly on Christmas Day.
