Mel Gibson’s next project to be “How I Spent My Summer Vacation”

At last we got clear information about the interest of Mel Gibson to Mexican prisons. Mel Gibson will not shoot his movie about Vikings in the prison of Veracruz – it is all for his another project, for which Gibson has wrote the screenplay and in which he will play a major role.

In the drama, entitled “How I Spent My Summer Vacation” Mel Gibson will depict the offender, who got into the Mexican prison, where crime and drug trafficking will flourish and where human life is not worth a brass farthing. 9-year-old boy in some way helps the protagonist to survive in the prison.

Mel Gibson has instructed the debutant director Adrian Grunberg, who was working as his first assistant on the set of the “Apocalypto”. Stacey Persky (the second assistant Mel on “Apocalypto”) produces a picture.

Mel Gibson for the fourth time in his career took up the pen, some time before he was writing the scripts for the “Passion of the Christ” and “Apocalypto”, as well as for one of the episodes of the sitcom “Complete Savages”.

The shooting will begin in March, in addition to the state of Veracruz, the shooting will be held in San Diego. Presumably, just after the movie “How I Spent My Summer Vacation” Mel Gibson will begin to work on a picture about the Vikings.
