Natalie Portman In “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies”

Natalie Portman has signed on a major role in the adaptation of the bestseller “Pride and Prejudice and Zombie”. The Book was written by literary hooligan Seth Grahame-Smith and Jane Austen.

In the remaking of the classic horror novel by Jane Austen’s, Bennet family of girls will not only have to worry about how to jump out of marriage, but also to ward off blood-thirsty zombies, which infest the district. Natalie Portman will depict Elizabeth Bennett, also she will produce the new screen version along with Annette Savitch (her partner in the production office “Handsomecharlie”) and along with director Richard Kelly, representing his own company “Darko Films”. Financing and distribution of this picture has taken the studio “Lionsgate”. The director’s chair is free for a while.

In the working plans of the Portman’s company “Handsomecharlie” appear a picture “Booksmart” and the film adaptation of the novel by Lynn Shepton “Important Artifacts”, in which Natalie will play together with Brad Pitt.
