The Strange Case of Angelica

The Portuguese director Manoel de Oliveira, who turned 101 some days ago, is ready to launch his new project: the patriarch of the world cinema will shoot the mystical drama “The Strange Case of Angelica” (O Estranho Caso de Angelica). Manoel de Oliveira has called Ricardo Trepa on the main role and Pilar Lopez de Ayala will play the role of Angelica.

The protagonist is a photographer (Ricardo Trepa), stops at the hotel. In the middle of the night he was awakened and asked by the owners to take the last shot they have just died on her daughter Angelica (Pilar Lopez de Ayala). The photographer does the request – as it turns out, to his misfortune, because a bit later Angelica will visit him as a ghost.
