Peter Berg’s “Battleship”

Studio “Universal Pictures” decided to release a film directed by Peter Berg’s “Battleship”, explanation of the game from “Hasbro” on July 1, 2011.

Mr. Berg by power of contract shall withdraw two pictures for the aforesaid studio, the second will be Afghan war drama – “Lone Survivor”.

Scenario to the “Battleship” wrote John Hober and Eric Hober, shooting will begin next spring.

Berg describes the action as “the modern history of the international fleet of five ships which engaged in intense, brutal and very entertaining fight.”

Other projects of director – “Dune” and “Hancock – 2″ – are waiting for their turn.

Also, “Hasbro” and “Universal Pictures” are preparing film adaptations of “Stretch Armstrong” with Steve Oedekerk, “Clue” with Gore Verbinski, “Monopoly” with Ridley Scott, “Candy Land” with Kevin Lima and “Ouija” with Michael Bay.
