Raimi’s “World of Warcraft”

Director Sam Raimi has chosen MTV, to tell how goes the screen version of World of Warcraft.

The first interesting detail – the script on the conscience of Robert Rodat – author of the story “Saving Private Ryan.”

Raimi also confirmed, that the film will not be an adaptation of the book “Arthas: Rise of the Lich King,” there comes the storm of original ideas, explanations of the popular MMORPG:

- “We would choose… something that encompasses lands and characters and storylines, and we would be true to it.”

The main purpose of an adaptation – to be as close as possible to the game. Our writer Robert Rodat writes a script that will really look like the adventure in the style of World of Warcraft. But let’s not forget the obvious fact – the world of feature films has its own rules.

We will not forget any of the Horde or the Alliance, we use a rich mythology and archetypes. And now I guarantee maximum authenticity and accuracy.

In general, atleast we do know the name of the writer, so the rest can be passed.
