War Horse

At the “DreamWorks” studio, turned the attention to the literary heritage of the 1980′s and still found something interesting: The studio has acquired the film rights to the published in 1982, novel by Michael Morpurgo “War Horse”. Steven Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Revel Guest have joined to the production of the draft. Lee Hall was hired For the adaptation (“Billy Elliot”).

The source tells the epic story of the friendship of the boy and his horse through the horrific events of the First World War. “From the moment I read the book, I knew this was a film I wanted to make. Its heart and its message provide a story that can be felt in every country,” said Spielberg.

It looks like the project will have a large scale. The date of production and the movie release has not yet determined.
