A global cataclysm occurs which leads to the end of the world and has survivors struggling for their lives, while a US government agency called the “Institute for Human Continuity” attempts to use ships to ensure the survival of the human race.
The film is inspired by several hypotheses that state that the Maya predicted a doomsday event would occur sometime around December 21, 2012 or the northern hemisphere’s winter solstice.

They call this entertainment? It won’t be so entertaining when the real 2012 events begin playing out long before December 2012 and no one is prepared. Nothing like Hollywood to numb the mind to reality.
some are prepared, you are not… an elit group of people might have already been chosen to be saved deep under the sea or ground, or maybe even on moon… would they let you know and chaos take over the world already? they want you to believe this is nothng but an over estimated prophecy… but some believe… i do… it is time for a complete cleaning, again…
who cares… we all are going to die, some day…
why is everyone afraid of dieing?
if you die this year, or this week, or even today… it doesnt matter!
why “5 minutes longer”?
if there will be an apocalyse, we all should be be happy about it, not because we all would die, but just because our family and friends, the people we love, die with us, so nobody has to leave those people back here! so nobody would be sad anymore… nobody knows what will happen to him after his death… but it also does not matter, because you will die some day, and you will not be able to change this fact!! so do not panic and enjoy your time here, if you are able to!
