And why not having Englund take the role if you’re going to just bring the same Kruger with the same outfit.. The movies owe him a lot..
This seems like a wholly superfluous remake. Every memorable scene from the original appears to be in the remake. Rebooting a franchise is one thing. Rehashing it something else, and this seems very much like a rehash. Pass.

I have to say, they should have the original freddy”Englund”to play the role. But lets face facts he’s just got to old for the part,dont get me wrong, he did great in all the nightmare on elm street movies.But Im ready to see someone new to take the part,for example we all thought jack played the best joker back then well when heath took the part and he knocked it out of the park.All im saying is lets give freddy a new face to play with in our dreams and hope hes less funny and more scary!!!!!
