It’ll be a silly movie. It’s suppose to be a tribute to themselves, all those cheesy, fun 80’s and 90’s action flicks.

This has got to be a joke, right? And reading the credits, no Terminator or Die Hard? C’mon, at least get Chuck Norris and JCVD.

  14. Pants said on October 14, 2009

I like how Randy Couture is in the shot with the title, has lines in the trailer and yet has no name credit. Wonder what he’s pulling home after taxes on this thing. Hopefully close to what stone cold is bringing back. I love entertainment!

Are you serious??? To all the people that thinks this movie or trailer is a bad-@$$ got some serious problem! Lol! I mean the picture quality alone looks like it was shot by a home video camera and the acting? C’mon’ mayne, I mean C’mon Mayne??? These are legends in the action flicks, I know stallone can do better directing this movie..Rambo was a bad-ass one man action hero and directed and wrote that too! I hope these are all movie spoofs! Lol!

  23. Jypsie said on October 14, 2009

Typical tough guy, save the girl, save the city/town/world/whatever, type of movie but the cast is a good choice. I would have added William Forsythe and a few other tough guy character actors as well. I am sure it will at least get a rating of 3 and if it is better than what the trailer shows, then it will get a better rating. We shall see how it comes out.

A return to mindless roller coasters action flicks with weak plots. military tech, and over the top fight scenes. I’m pre-ordering my ticket now…

For everyone who misses a good old fashioned “ACTION” movie .. Its nice to see the genre brought back.. It may be tacky but there seems to be a whole fights, pyro and ACTION… !!!

  30. robhoang00 said on October 15, 2009

supposedly, back when this movie was announced last year, schwarzennegger was said to have a cameo of some sort. might be like his cameo in T4. as for why JCVD isn’t in it, he and lundgren have bad blood from their universal soldier days.

  31. jay8047 said on October 15, 2009

For all those wanting Segal and JCVD… they need to leave something for the sequel!!!

  32. jay8047 said on October 15, 2009

Also I think Carl Weathers and Jesse “The Body” Ventura would fit in well with this group.

  33. christina said on October 15, 2009

  34. Brandnew said on October 16, 2009

This is the dumbest trailer I ever saw in my life. It’s already boring after 2 minutes of trailer, so what’s it gonna be ater 2 hours. It’s edited like a 80’s movie, we have no idea what the plot is. This is dumb…. Completely ididot…

  35. huhuhu said on October 16, 2009

Without Chuck Norris this film is going to be a flop.

“xmykro said on October 14, 2009

    What?! No Steven Seagal? FAIL”

You are the one who fails.

Anyone who thinks that the only way that an action movie can possibly be good is to have Steven Seagal in it is a complete idiot. This movie has Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, and Jet Li for christ’s sake. How could it possibly not be good? Seagal is an overrated, overweight has-been who couldn’t act his way out of a wet paper bag.

  38. Big_M said on October 17, 2009

“huhuhu said on October 16, 2009

Without Chuck Norris this film is going to be a flop.”

    No, it won’t.

The only “flop” that occurred was when your mother gave birth to you. Especially with dumb comments like that.

    Be serious next time.

“Brandnew said on October 16, 2009

This is the dumbest trailer I ever saw in my life.”

I don’t think that you’ve seen very many trailers.

“It’s already boring after 2 minutes of trailer,”

Do you always get bored this quickly?

“so what’s it gonna be ater 2 hours.”

The movie hasn’t come out yet, but you’re already assuming that it’s going to be boring based on a damn trailer?!? Some people really have sort attention spans these days.

    “It’s edited like a 80’s movie,”

I believe that was the idea considering that this movie is supposed to pay tribute to all the great action movies and action heroes of the 80’s and 90’s.

“we have no idea what the plot is.”

I don’t remember the last time that a TEASER trailer revealed any plot. The trailer was not supposed to reveal any plot. It was just supposed to give you a first look at the movie itself.

    “This is dumb…. Completely ididot…”

What’s dumb and completely “ididot” is your ignorant opinions and your poor spelling.

For everyone, who want *enter name here* in the movie:
it’s like you want a marvel moviel with EVERY marvelchar in one single movie of 2 or 3 hours…so everyone got some seconds and the films over
…to think about it, a movie about a picture of a naked Susan Richards of 4 to 5 minutes would be far more awsome…but when she’s visible of corse…otherwise…doh!
where was I? oh yes, don’t wish for every single actionmoviehero to be in one single movie or it will suck…or end like in ultimate showdown of ultimate desteny
(if you wound some mistakes in my speling, there all urs, kthxbye)

Where the Hell are CHock Norris, Van Dam and Steven Seagal?

  42. YaffitKotto said on November 8, 2009

JCVD and Seagal were both offered roles, but turned it down (along with Kurt Russell). Haven’t seen anything about Chuck but I’m sure he’d be willing to throw his bacon on the barbeque if given a chance.

  44. SASCHA "SASH" SEITZ said on November 13, 2009

The best action cast off all times. Stallone is an awsome filmmaker. I´m glad that he was able to get the Legends together. Looking forward to see Arnolds part. Weak that JCVD, Seagal and Kurt Russell turned down the parts. Hope that Chuck will get a guest apperance would be the cream on the top of the cake. I`m wishing the entire cast and crew all the things they need to make this over the top action flick into the blockbuster of 2009. Carpe Diem – SASH

  45. Dean said on November 18, 2009

Looks like Stallone is still using his ‘angry face’ to get his point across.

  46. Orsonwelles said on December 9, 2009

If you have lived through the eighties, you cannot afford to miss this movie no matter how bad the critics or anyone for that matter say it is. I could never have imagined all these guys coming togeather, so my ticket is reserved.

  47. Chad said on December 9, 2009

Its a promo trailer people. for the most part it looks like a fun time at the movies.

  48. Sascha "Sash" Seitz said on December 10, 2009

I can only agree with Orson Welles you can not afford to miss this movie when you have lived through the eighties. Appart from that I really like that Stallone was shooting in New Orleans to try to boost the economy according to his budget. Another fact is that Sir Schwarzenegger is going to appear in the movie which is outstanding. His last apperance was as a CGI in Terminator Salvation. This time it will be a real part, a must see!

    Stallone is bad ass!

  55. Online said on January 6, 2010

Sylvester Stallone broke his neck while filming a fight scene in his latest movie.

The veteran action hero had emergency surgery and a metal plate inserted in his neck following the accident on the set of The Expendables.

The 63-year-old actor was filming a fight with wrestling co-star Stone Cold Steve Austin, 45, in the upcoming movie, but it was so realistic that Stallone ended up with a hairline fracture in his neck.
