Typical tough guy, save the girl, save the city/town/world/whatever, type of movie but the cast is a good choice. I would have added William Forsythe and a few other tough guy character actors as well. I am sure it will at least get a rating of 3 and if it is better than what the trailer shows, then it will get a better rating. We shall see how it comes out.

For everyone who misses a good old fashioned “ACTION” movie .. Its nice to see the genre brought back.. It may be tacky but there seems to be a whole fights, pyro and ACTION… !!!
supposedly, back when this movie was announced last year, schwarzennegger was said to have a cameo of some sort. might be like his cameo in T4. as for why JCVD isn’t in it, he and lundgren have bad blood from their universal soldier days.
For all those wanting Segal and JCVD… they need to leave something for the sequel!!!
Also I think Carl Weathers and Jesse “The Body” Ventura would fit in well with this group.

This movie has Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, and Jet Li for christ’s sake. How could it possibly not be good? JCVD and Seagal were both offered roles, but turned it down (along with Kurt Russell). Haven’t seen anything about Chuck but I’m sure he’d be willing to throw his bacon on the barbeque if given a chance.

The best action cast off all times. Stallone is an awsome filmmaker. I?m glad that he was able to get the Legends together. Looking forward to see Arnolds part. Weak that JCVD, Seagal and Kurt Russell turned down the parts. Hope that Chuck will get a guest apperance would be the cream on the top of the cake. Looks like Stallone is still using his ‘angry face’ to get his point across.
If you have lived through the eighties, you cannot afford to miss this movie no matter how bad the critics or anyone for that matter say it is. I could never have imagined all these guys coming togeather, so my ticket is reserved.
Its a promo trailer people. for the most part it looks like a fun time at the movies.
I can only agree with Orson Welles you can not afford to miss this movie when you have lived through the eighties. Appart from that I really like that Stallone was shooting in New Orleans to try to boost the economy according to his budget. Another fact is that Sir Schwarzenegger is going to appear in the movie which is outstanding. His last apperance was as a CGI in Terminator Salvation. This time it will be a real part, a must see!

The veteran action hero had emergency surgery and a metal plate inserted in his neck following the accident on the set of The Expendables.
The 63-year-old actor was filming a fight with wrestling co-star Stone Cold Steve Austin, 45, in the upcoming movie, but it was so realistic that Stallone ended up with a hairline fracture in his neck.

I hope Stallone is all right. According to Online he had to have surgery and a metal plate implanted to fix his neck injury, after he got damaged in a fighting scene. I can only say that Stallone is taking his job to the max. Hope he is recovering fast and is soon back in action. It’ll be a great film, with a cast like that, and an equally big budget, got to be a great moive,,,, the operative word being ‘movie’… stop blubbering and accept it for what it is.
Well for those of us who can remember the 80′s….it was exactly movies like this that got us excited and running to the cinema….these days i take a very slow stroll to see some CGI based crap thats out there….and just because i can…Clash of the Titans sucks ass.

There must be a lot of these late 80′s and 90′s sponge bob watching crack kids around. It sounds like a lot of these people have never seen a REAL action movie before. Yeah it would have been cool to have Chuck in it too but damn we are lucky to even see this cast in our life time. As far as Egos they all seem to have pulled it off just fine. I guess everyone just got used to the gay ass CGI action based movies of today. Chances are, if you are hating on this movie already, you probably never were a big action movie fan to begin with. So go off and keep watching bullshit wannabe cartoon ass made for people with ADHD movies. Society has become a bunch of pussies. Leave the action flicks to the real men. Hell and the real women for that matter (Shout out to Linda Hamilton).

I’ve been waiting 20 years for a movie like this. Major actors in a movie. Arnold, I think, is still a govenor so he cant have a large role cause it interferes w/state work. as for Norris, Van Damn, maybe even Norton, “The Rock”, Chan, R.D. Jr., Damon, Segal, and the Un Bok(sp?) guy for a sequel.
It looks like Lundgren dies so JCVD can be in the next one, we all know that if it one sells then 2 and 3 will sell too…or in Stallons case 7-12 lol!
Seriously though I think it’ll be a great action kick ass kind of movie where the plot doesn’t really matter because your having a good time laughing at the dialog and just plain enjoying the movie for what it is, ENTERTAINMENT!!
I like the idea of having all these guys in a movie and taking the action genre back to its roots, where bad acting and horrible camera work was part of the movie!!
I doubt that it’ll win an oscar or even a nomination for anything but it’ll be a fun movie to watch, i’ve been waiting a long time to have a reason to go drop $9 for a damn theatre ticket. I feel this is a good reason…I’ll be sneaking in my own snacks though that crap is too damn expensive!!

this movie was fucking amazing,,,a little hard to believe at sum points ex. terry crews shotgun somehow blows up every tower he shoots lol it was bad ass but a little unrealistic. THE most exciting action packed movie ive seen in a LONG time. I will definitely go see it again
I havent seen it yet but possibly this coming weekend! Im excited about it for sure…and its been stated by van damn and stallone that VD (haha!) isnt in the film because stallone couldnt give him a definite answer on WHO VD’s charcter would be so he didnt sign up for the movie. but im almost certain that sequel would have to be made since its already hit the over the 30mil mark and #1 so its always possible!

I saw the movie. Funny dialog. Good action scenes. Also, well written. I just hope Stallone recovers and a sequel is made to include some other actors as well. Was worth the 7 bucks i spent on ticket for sure.

Absolutely a throw back to the classic Stallone action movies! Rambo and Rocky, Demolition man and Over The Top, all absolutely great and this is something to look forward to.
I bought it on Blue Ray today and cannot wait to get home and watch it.
Haters…go watch it and then repost about how horrible it was even though you sat and watched every second in silence! haha
